In
addition to the surgeries, I have undergone 7 years of physical
therapy from various clinics, two years of aqua physical therapy,
underwater treadmill walking, and out of desperation; 27 Epidural
Steroid Injections, (three of which were damaging to my spinal cord
nerves), multiple trigger point injections in my major muscles, IM
steroid injections, oral steroid dose packs, 16 years of acupuncture,
6 years of chiropractic manipulation, massage therapy, infrared laser
treatments, yoga, meditation, biofeedback, ultrasound, magnets,
cupping, TENS unit, ACE stimulator brace, ice therapy, moist heat
therapy, topical creams, RX homeopathic trigger point injections,
cranial sacral therapy, facet joint injections, and 17 years of trial
and error with medications.
My
health conditions include Arachnoiditis, FBSS (Failed Back Surgery
Syndrome), Degenerative Disc Disease, Post Laminectomy Syndrome,
Bulging/Degenerative Discs from C3 to L3, Fibromyalgia, Bi-lateral hip
bursitis and tendonitis, S1-S2 unstable vestigial discs,
osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, hypertension, coronary artery disease,
irritable bowel syndrome, severe CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome),
absent or decreased motor strength in lower extremities, entire body
severe muscle spasms, myoclonic jerking, allodonia, formications,
headaches, urinary dysfunction, depression, insomnia, tachycardia,
hyperhidrosis, stent placement and balloon angioplasty for a 90%
blockage at age 42. The
stress from pain caused early onset of high blood pressure and
coronary artery disease.
Hobbies
and Beliefs
Gourmet
cooking, photography, dog grooming, custom drape sewing when possible,
Isometric and Isotonic exercising, shopping on the web, jewelry
buying, reading, and keeping updated on the computer.
